The .CUT PK> extension is simply a .PKT format file that has been RENAMED into a PK> format for sending to a node. If you want to use .PKT files "au PK> natural" (natively) then use the LEAVE command in ROUTE.CFG to tell PK> Squish to NOT touch the created .PKT file. Its been a long time since I looked into this and you may be correct, however as I understand it the original poster wanted the .PKT format BEFORE BinkD got its hands on them.
