Subj : [VOICENWS] Drivers: PEEK.SYS driver source code now available To : All From : VOICE News Service Date : Thu Aug 25 2016 06:12 pm ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: martinDESPAM@DESPAMos2world.com PEEK.SYS driver source code is now available: https://github.com/OS2World/DRV-Peek On the past only the DLL source code was available, now the complete driver is available under the GNU LGPL license. "Peek is an OS/2 Physical Device Driver that allows it's user to read/write from IO ports, map physical memory into the processes address space and to reboot programmatically. It is intended for all of us who sometimes need to interface to a bit of (possibly self-built) hardware from OS/2, and don't want to write an OS/2 PDD for that purpose." More Information: http://www.os2world.com/wiki/index.php/Peek Special thanks to Lars Immisch for turning it open source. -- For a choice in the future of personal computing, Join VOICE - http://www.os2voice.org [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
