I think they can see it, but they're too arrogant to accept it. It feels better to double-down on failure than to acknowledge to a mistake.

Tim Walz for example; right now he should be apologizing for the fraud, but instead he says he's "investigating it."

Robert Deniro's another one. He sold his soul for the left, at the expense of his own grandson's life, but now he says he's "moving out of NYC because of Mamdani" because apparently money is more important to him than his own grandson's life.
