Subj : mutil PackFileBases does not flag files as offline? To : g00r00 From : Bj”rn Wiberg Date : Sat Jan 22 2022 11:22 am Hello g00r00! Now running the latest published A48 prealpha here. :) I noticed that when I removed a file (MyGUI v1.0.2.26.zip) from disk and ran ./mutil -run PackFileBases afterwards, mutil did not flag the missing file as offline, but merely as having a 0-byte file size. The file listing shows: 01 MyGUI v1.0.2.26.zip 0B 01/09/22 ....and mutil.ini contains: [PackFileBases] ; If true, MUTIL will check to make sure files exist, and will update their ; file size in the listing, optionally removing missing files (remove_missing) check_files = true ; If true, MUTIL will remove any files which do not exist from the file ; list database while checking integrity. Otherwise they will be flagged as ; OFFLINE in the file listing. 0 byte files are considered "missing" remove_missing = false Do you know what could be causing this? I have double-checked that the old file is not present on disk any longer: bbs@glimmer:~$ find /mnt/bbs/files/fsxnet/FSX_MUTL/ -iname 'MyGUI*' /mnt/bbs/files/fsxnet/FSX_MUTL/MyGUI137.zip (That is a newer, different file.) Thanks in advance! Best regards Bj”rn --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A48 2022/01/19 (Linux/64) * Origin: Star Collision BBS, Uppsala, Sweden (2:201/137) .
