Subj : Lowercase archive extension? To : g00r00 From : Bj”rn Wiberg Date : Fri Aug 27 2021 07:41 pm Hello g00r00! A quick question for you -- I just tried to change the tar archive Extension from "TAR" (uppercase) to "tar" (lowercase). After the change, I changed my archiver selection to the new one, just to be sure that the "correct" archiver/definition was selected. However, when trying to create/download a compressed file list from the Files menu, Mystic creates no archive file and just returns me to the Files menu. Nothing regarding the attempted packing is logged to the node log. An strace shows that it reads through archive.dat, and then looks for the supposed-to-be-created archive file: access("/home/bbs/mystic/temp1/allfiles.tar", F_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) ....which fails, then performs some more checks/cleanup, and finally loads/shows the Files menu. If you change some archive extension to lowercase (on Linux), would this possibly happen on your system as well? I'm running the latest A47 prealpha that I downloaded earlier this evening. Other than that, everything seems to be running just fine. Thanks in advance!
