this is an instance where points can be confusing...

if a point adds its 2D to the seenby and path, the boss should detect this and 
skip CPD while not adding its own 2D since they are the same as the points'...

if a point does not add its 2D to the seenby and path, the boss will likely 
skip or pass CPD and add its own 2D since it doesn't exist in the message...
