In my closet I have about 6 stacks of 80 or so discs, I have a shelf full and I have a couple of large boxes full under my desk, plus a bunch of shelves full in my office which I am keeping for personal reasons and don't want to sell. > NR> https://www.endofthelinebbs.com/20211108_184955.jpg > > NR> That's only part of it. > > Start scanning those barcodes! Or I could download the MusicBrainz virtual server and database, and the Discogs export and load it into the database, then write a perl script to query both so I have a better chance at a hit. Yes, I am working on it slowly. Problem is, a lot of them have stickers over the barcode from resale places so I have to scrape to scan. A lot are not listed and even then you may still have to match up the correct release since one barcode can be used for different catalog numbers. It's really not just a point and click task. Then I have to check the CD for scratches and the booklet for damage...or even autographs (I have found a few). -- End Of The Line BBS - Plano, TX telnet endofthelinebbs.com 23 --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux * Origin: End Of The Line BBS - endofthelinebbs.com (1:124/5016) .
