My brother is a big fan of them. I really like Gavin's drumming, but haven't really gotten in the albums that much. > "Snakes and Arrows" was really good. I agree with all of that (yeah, read the book too). > Oddly enough on Slacker there is a re-issue of Vapor Trails that I > absolutely hate. They re-mixed all the songs and I really hate the end > result. Not sure what the hell they were thinking with that one. Totally disagree on that one. Vapor Trails was a horrible mix/master, overly compressed (dynamically) and sonically harsh. I *much* prefer the mixmaster. You can actually hear Geddy's awesome bass work on One Little Victory. A/B the two versions of the songs and I think you'll come to the same conclusion. There are full parts of the songs that now stand out as "new" to me that were completely buried in the mix before. I love it. > We are http://www.prooforspoof.com Are you sure about that? :-) digital man This Is Spinal Tap quote #34: We'd love to stand around and chat, but we've gotta sit down in the lobby Norco, CA WX: 54.3øF, 85.0% humidity, 1 mph SE wind, 0.00 inches rain/24hrs .
