On XM theres both. :) Theres two - Canadian XM and American XM. I have the 
American model. I can't begin to explain the multitude of speciality stations 
on there... everything from prog rock to talk radio, even a 24 hour 
comedy/improv station or two here, uncut/uncensored. :)

I have one receiver that came with two "docking stations" - one for the car and 
one for home. Its just a matter of taking the small receiver and plugging it in 
to whatever docking station I want at the time. :)
