I don't think there's anything wrong with Squish compressing emails. If you search Google, you'll find a number of instructions for running BBS doors under DOSEMU. I have no experience with that. I use Maximus/DOS to avoid such complications. Running a BBS on VMware MS-DOS 6.22 or WindowsXP is the easiest way to get maximum compatibility from all your BBS applications. .
