Actually there isn't any activity on Maximus sources. The last release was 
2003. It will be 2013 soon with nothing. But I thought those MEX problems you 
had were solved by people ages ago by recompiling their *.mex's under Linux 
Maximus.

Anyway Bo Simonsen is working on DayDream BBS atm, claiming that Maximus is to 
"DOS" for him :)

Looking at Maximus, now I know what it's like to run RA or PCBoard or any of 
those abandoned BBS's. It's a good thing I'm not depressed atm otherwise I'd be 
even more depressed. :)

Maximus is still the best BBS software in the world !
