I have no experience with Argus, but my approach would be to establish a 
control (ie. science experiment control) with another mailer that works with 
Squish and produces expected results eg. Binkleyterm or Binkd in order to 
isolate the problem to Argus or Squish.

Alternatively you can find an Argus user that has a working system with Squish.

Or, find an Argus user and copy his setup.
