Subj : all you have to do is rock and roll and that's all To : Alan Ianson From : Maurice Kinal Date : Wed Aug 20 2025 09:17 pm Hey Alan! > That cut 'n paste thing kind of boggles my muscle memory but I'm > getting used to it.. ;) Well put. The above speaks to me. > BBS machine and laptop have four. I've forgotten about the laptop. It also has four. I haven't used it for awhile and probably should get it up to speed. I am not fond of laptops but in this case it makes a good platform for testing mobile gps apps that I haven't played with in quite some time now. Not sure why that is given all the past work I put into it. > I'll get upgraded here at some point! Me too. I seriously doubt it'll be a threadripper or anything in that class but I think I've seen enough of mini-PCs and would more than likely go for a lowpower draw mini-itx based system. I am not holding my breath though and the current plan is to make do with what I have. The wireless hotpots (two) seem to be fairly stable. Nobody is complaining ... yet.
