Sunday September 29 2024 21:27, you wrote to me: MV> In theory I could fix it by getting my own fiberglass modem/router but MV> for XSPON they are expensive and there is little choice. I had xPON (compatible with several standards) SFP in my Mikrotik router in Moscow 2 years ago, replacing a very limited ZTE GPON router. Mikrotik had problems with it in certain firmware releases, but overall, the experience was exciting. Currently, I had to reinstall the ZTE router back because I can't just teleport to Moscow to fix any problems with the SFP, and the ZTE has been quite stable. If you'd like, I can send you the SFP and help to setup it in compatible router. Alternatively, you could try configuring your router as a bridge. Is that possible? You could then connect it to another intelligent router. I had this setup in Moscow for a while, but, once again, I can't teleport there to resolve any issues. However, this might not be a concern in your case. Best regards, dp. --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5-b20230304 * Origin: All is good in St. John's Wood (2:5001/100.1) .
