These buttons are displayed using font-family: 'Glyphicons Halflings'  
in the CSS.
This font is included via the bootstrap.css and is loaded from the BBS  
directly (from the /css/bootstrap/fonts/ directory).

I don't know why a 64bit build won't display this font correctly.
Do you have any extensions which maybe disable the loading of fonts?

You can also try https://box.imzadi.de and check if my BBS is being  
displayed correctly...
