I was reading the news on my lunch break, and AT> playingBrick Breaker when I was supposed to be working. I don't play games on that thing. It is a phone at the ready. A quick visit with the browser to check something is rare. But it is quite fine as an ereader in a pinch. The FM radio is a nice treat when I want to get live news in the area without wasting mobile data. And.. of course, the camera is very convenient. It also serves as an indicator of email arrivals - and handy for quick acknowledgements. I found a compatible PGP app for it. Now I can operate like 007 and communicate in privacy when I have a field mission from headquarters. Telegram is a pretty good substitute as well. AT> And now looking back, it was an excellent phone. Rugged, AT> full keyboard, worked fine. Yes.. I find it's a very nice size for a phone. The larger Samsungs and Androids that I see people use remind me of the shoe phone in Get Smart. AT> If I remember right, I was forced to stop using it when AT> Tmobile went 3G. There are two competing 3G technologies. Maybe the 3G you needed with Tmobile was simply not compatible with the 3G that the Blackberry used? Anyway.. the BB has manual or automatic selectable "LTE & 4G/3G & 2G". It most often selects LTE with Luckymobile. I bought a genuine BB belt holster for it from eBay only last year, convinced that I am going to take care of this thing a little better and use it as long as I can. -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.48 * Origin: (2:221/1.58) .
