There is an addition to Synchronet written by eChicken available on the CVS 
server. I have not implimented it as I also run a packet BBS using JNOS which 
can be accessed from the Synchronet BBS. The TNC's and radios are currently on 
the "bench" getting overhauled and will be going to the repeater site (at 
7500') within the next month. I run JNOS in a virtual machine on the main BBS 
server and use a TCP/IP to serial converter to connect the computer to the 
TNC's via the Internet.

The distance between the TNC's and the computer is 37 miles "as the crow 
flies".
