Well, for me, going that direction and distance would be hard to justify when we could spend the same time and similar direction and visit our son/DIL/grandson in Indy. :-) SD> Shelby is a six hour round trip in one day while Hamvention SD> is a twelve hour drive round trip. My wife and I have been thinking about finding a 'good for the money' Class C to do some travel with... We like the idea of one of us crawling in the back to sleep while the other drives, being able to just pull in to 'camp' or sleep, having the same vehicle to just 'take the home itself' to Wal-Mart or whatever. It's just the two of us, and a decent one will still have temporary sleeping areas for a few more (maybe above the cab, for the grandkids), so it would still be good for that too... ....
