Hi Roy,

I have just received confirmation from our local "Air Ground School"
that ID in morse code is used on almost all Aircraft navigation
beacons  I had thought that morse code ID was only on the low power
'non-directional' beacons .  I also had it confirmed that there is no
suggestion that there is any intention to change from Morse Code ID.
The pilots rarley know code, they just match the dits and dah's to
the beacon on the map (I.E. the id's on the maps are written as dots
and dashes, not the letter(s)/number(s) that the morse code represents.)
