I also went for about ten years without performing live at one point. When I finally got back into it, I went out and auditioned for an R&B band - mainly 'cause I knew a couple of the guys and they needed a bass player. I figured it'd be a fairly safe way to get back in the game because played in R&B bands before, but I was nervous as hell and didn't play very well at all. Still, I got the gig - probably 'cause they were desperate! ;-\ PL> hope it works out, I'd really love to start playing out again!! MR> Best of luck. Let us know how it turns out.
