Man, that sucks.  That would make it painful to play for any length of
time.  Sure hope they could figure out something to do for that short of
surgery.

That is a shocker.  

Good to hear from you.  My band, the Vi-Counts, played high school sock
hops at Corona High School back in the mid-60s.  We got lost one time
loading out and our drummer accidentally drove our panel truck through the
chains of a swing set at a nearby playground.  ONe of the low points of my
career.
