Subj : Triumphant Return To : BRETT MCCOY From : DOUGLAS MCHARG Date : Thu Apr 19 2001 12:42 pm > Hey, Doug, glad to see you back! I just got back > in the group a few months ago myself, after being > gone for like 5 years! > -- Brett Me too. My band Fugitive died out at the end of 1999 after 13 years of great experiences. Best band I have played in, and in some ways I wish I was still doing that. Now, I have formed a duo with the singer from Fugitive and I am playing mostly 12 string. We are doing some Cat Stevens, Crowded House, Elvis, Soul Asylum, etc. totally about 35 songs so far. We've got a regular gig every 3 months at a local restaurant / english style pub and I am enjoying that. Actually, I play there in two days (April 19). So how have you been? Still doing the Medieval thing? Still playing? Watcha doing for work? I still have a cork board beside my computer which has a pile of pictures of my fidonet buddies and I look at it all the time. I've been down to see Bill Riley a few times (and he came up here last fall) and have met quite a few of the guys in our west coast jam sessions. Even Lee MacMillan flew out for one of them, and it was great meeting all the guys. I try and stay in touch with Tom Engle, Bill Riley, Rich Lockyer, Dave Casey, Lee MacMillan, Stephen Jones and a few others that I chatted with a lot. Great bunch of guys. Write back and let me know how you've been! --Doug --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a * Origin: BBS Networks @ www.bbsnets.com 808-839-5016 (1:10/345) .
