A good Fender over in Australia, genuine US ranges from $2000 (standard 
Strats & Teles with not many bells & whistles) to $4000 ('62 re-issues of 
Jaguars and Jazzmasters); Gibsons tend to go for around $3300 or so I think 
for a decent LP and about $4000 for a good SG; Ibanez are usually pretty 
cheap and I will never buy another, around $700 to $1500 for your common 
models; Maton Mastersound goes for $900 to $1200 depending on whether you 
want a different paint job or something, but a very damn good guitar.. I will 
definately buy one someday; Yamaha I don't care about except the 1966 
re-issue of the SGV series, which go for around $600 surprisingly; 
Rickenbacker are $6000 I think for the re-issues; Epiphones are around the 
$1000 mark; Jacksons are around $700 to $1500; ESP are $1000 to $2000; 
Gibson Gothic series are $2000 or thereabouts;

all are is $AUS.
