There are even a number of books on the market devoted to the cover art on the 12" vinyl record. I wonder if the same kind of recognition will ever be accorded to CD art work? Hmmmm.... Yep. Not that particular album, but I've definitely been there. I've also bought a number of albums, sound unheard, purely for the cover. I doubt whether I'd ever do the same for a CD.
