"never seems that kids can pull the look off" I dunno bill, my father would 
still track me down and have me "roughed up' if I even today pierced an 
ear...now these kids are piercing body parts that I never even knew I 
had....well sortuh did ..but never would've died my6 hair purple and orange 
either :(
