That looks correct:
lib/ftelnet.js:    return (settings.ftelnet_rip ? 'rip' : 'norip') + '.' + (settings.ftelnet_xfer ? 'xfer' : 'noxfer');

That "settings" object is read from the [web] section of modopts.ini, and that matches what I have set on Vertrauen.
