Primarily, those permissions are to allow you to post photos and invite contacts like Messenger or any other chat program. Of course any program could potentially exploit that. But then again, any program could potentially exploit anything by the fact of being on your device. Check the Terms of service, etc And see how you feel. -- Best regards!
