Thanks for that info.  I don't remember how I made the  
Fido2telebot identity show up in the first place. It is just  
"there" now.  I wondered how that originally happened because the  
bot was NOT in my Contacts.  I think somehow the bot initated  
some kind of chat message first?

Anyway.. mystery solved.  The netmail->telegram could be a handy  
way to send a message like a reminder to one's self to get the  
note or information on one's smartphone.
