Runs ok. Ahh.. but that's not the same experience. vDOS is nagware and requires registration to run uninterrupted by a pop-up every 3 hours. However, vDOS sounds like a fine solution for the serious-minded that absolutely rely on the resurrection of a few special DOS program from the past, and get on with things with their modern Win10/64 pcs. Some POS (Point of Sale) and database applications come to mind! There is a grwoing segment of people who have relied on specific DOS apps with their Win7/32 pcs for years and now need be able to use them on Win10/64 pcs. But is the future for fidonet-things dire without this capability? It would seem to me that the more real/critical matter would be the "Year 2038" problem. Does this problem go away on 64bit systems that run old DOS or Win/32-bit programs? ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.43 * Origin: /|ug's Point, Ont. CANADA (2:221/1.58) .
