Noted.  That is why I introduced it as the "oddity that has a record of the 
past".   From the handful of echoes I looked at (and some echo names seemed to 
be missing) the dates only ranged from 2003 to 2007.

The one at https://fidonet.ozzmosis.com/ looks more current *and* includes some 

echos with messages that go as far back as 2002.
