It's important to have a clear and organized system for conducting FidoNet elections. The use of a NODELIST and enforcing eligibility criteria for voters are good practices. However, the rejection of a ballot for not being listed as an RC in NODELIST.027 is a bit extreme. It's worth considering the intent and legitimacy of the vote rather than solely relying on technicalities. Otherwise, this process seems to be following standard protocol and the deadline for casting ballots is clearly communicated.
