To me, it's just another terminal, albeit at a very non-standard size :) Always thought there *could* be a way to generate a better experience at a phone-size using mobile telent/SSH, but the reality is -- BBSs were made for desktop computers. That's probably where they will stay, short of a wholly new approach that would require BBS authors to create/adopt new screen sizes AND new/better mobile apps to support them.
