The actual outage will be shorter, but as things are not on a UPS, I thought
I'd take the safe route to prevent things from getting power spikes when
power returns.

Not to mention avoiding any potential "Oops, we had to pull the plug again -- oh, where you fscking your file systems?"... :-O
