You can most definitely do that, but you can't do it while using msgs.ini. You would have to include a goldareas-sync.txt instead that defines each area manually. When you access your Synchronet message areas, you don't need to include a tearline and origin line, since sbbsecho appends that for you. Mystic does not do this, so you would need to use the "GROUP" keyword and set all of your Mystic areas to use a tearline and origin line - while NOT using those settings for your Synchronet message areas. > I do.
