Subj : Getting Python to work with Mystic To : All From : Gryphon Date : Wed Jun 19 2024 03:11 am Hi All, I've been trying to get python to work with mystic and I'm not having any luck and I'm hoping that I can get some assistance here. I'm running Ubuntu 24.04LTS x86_64 and I have only python3 installed. No python2 is installed. I'm running Mystic A49 L64. I've followed the instructions as well as I can but still can't seem to get it to work. I've added /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpython3.12.so to the Python 3 Library field in the mystic config, but I've never been clear if that is supposed to hold the path to the libs or the full path/lib.so file. Either way, I've tried both and I still get "Cannot initialize Python, press a key" Do I need to restart MIS after each change? Do I need to set some environment variables? Any help would be appreciated. .... Hard work never killed anyone but why take a risk? --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A48 (Linux/64) * Origin: Agency BBS | Dunedin, New Zealand | agency.bbs.nz (21:1/101) .
