Zi> Zi> That would be some retro archive for sure! =) You know... I actually prefer perusing a retro file collection ON the BBS - like literally, hands down, I can 'get more' done by using a TG/RG/Mystic-like file system. Since files are mostly retro, you can dig in... read .txt/.doc/etc files, blow up the archives and even see what cool historical nuggets (bbstros, cracks, etc) might be in some random .ARJ that hasn't been opened for 20 years... but I've had several users REALLY wanting to be able to download in a different way. At one point I looked at creating scripts/MPL that would allow a user to archive up a complete XXGB amount of data and D/L one file - but at that point you really need a current method of pulling the data down... FTP is much faster, and still offers SOME of the vintage - if only it read FILE_ID.DIZs! |07p|15AULIE|1142|07o |08......... --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A48 (Linux/64) * Origin: 2o fOr beeRS bbs>>>20ForBeers.com:1337 (21:2/150) .
