Mystic's editor looks somewhat like IceEdit already in the editing window.

But you are right it is not the same.

Nightfox has written SlyEdit for synchronet. It can look like IceEdit or DCTEdit pretty much through and through. I like it! :)

I don't think so. It would be a challenge.
