Subj : Permissions question To : All From : Patch Date : Wed Sep 27 2023 07:41 am I am running Mystic on my R-Pi and have recently noticed a permission issue that I'd like some help with. When I SSH or try to run the SysOp menu /* it tells me that I do not have permissions to do that. Part of me like the idea of no one being able to get to the menu's remotely, but when you're trying to setup the BBS and need to confer with others, it kinda sucks. I've tried chown user:user -R, which processed successfully but I still get the error. When I look at the permissions for the mystic folder, it reads as user:user normally. Anyone have any ideas? .... Users come in two types: Those who have lost data, and those who will. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A48 (Linux/64) * Origin: Agency BBS | Dunedin, New Zealand | agency.bbs.nz (21:1/101) .
