This reply is probably NOT the one to take heed to; however, with *Mystic BBS Software* I was getting an EAccessViolation that had to do w/ Python 3... do you have Python 3 installed? Python 2.7? 

Just a thought, two different softwarez - but on Mystic BBS it was Python 3 that was jacked up for me.
