I don't have a Pi4 yet and they seem to be unavailable right now, was looking
for one. My BBS is running on a Pi3 off the microSD. I can always have the
microSD point to the SSD to boot the BBS. Right now I boot the really old
Unix 5 way using rc.local to kick it off. I have a Pi 2 and a couple of Pi 3.
My oldest Pi booted from SD and wasn't staple for more then 6 months at a time. After a year and some I gave up on that. The microSD can last a year or
more and generally reloaded a number of times before putting in a new one.

.... It said "insert disk #3", but only two will fit...
