I'm curious on the right way to credit any use of this type of pre-existing
artwork.  Is it ok to cut out an ad space leaving the rest of the art there
to drop in a menu in the new space, but leave the original artists signature? 
I've often wondered this, but never added any artwork because I don't want to
create some sort of issue.

I'm not an artist, I don't want to pass of anyone elses art as mine in any
way, I just have no idea what qualifies as a appropriate way to use it and
not upset folks.

Certainly open to thoughts on this.
