Sounds great!

Actually the ability to support ASCII is one of the things I like with Mystic.

And being able to use pipe (MCI) codes in .ASC files and having Mystic translate it to ANSI or ASCII as needed, on-the-fly, is a very nice feature!

I remember my first attempts at a BBS back in 1993 I think it was -- I started with some kind of remote access functionality in a software called ComIt (from Tradewind Software). It came with my SupraFAXmodem 24/96i and gave
MNP4 and MNP5 (software) support, if I remember correctly. I believe that one presented an ASCII interface to users.

Later on I switched to something similar in Telemate and customized it quite a bit -- including the messaging functions -- then finally went for RemoteAccess.

And now, 25 years later, switched to Mystic. =)
