Subj : Talisman echomail

Hi All.  I've been trying to get Talisman to import/export echomail to no
success.
I can get Binki or Binkd to poll and receive mail, and the mail ends up where
it should in the inbox. When Postie is started, the only log entry I ever get
is,

2021-11-02 14:40:08 ERROR: Timeout waiting for pid file...

Postie's PID file is where it's supposed to be. 

Can anyone shed any light on this. My inbox is full of mail so I know I'm at
least half way there. <grin>
