You'll most likely need a license to broadcast "on air" depending on where you are. In Australia you need a license (anything from LPON which is limited to 1 watt, then you move up the ladder to community broadcasting, up to commercial. all except LPON are near impossible to get) to broadcast any form of AM/FM radio. People enjoy finding "pirate" radio stations and reporting them. If you end up interfering with a commercial station be prepared :)
