Yeah - I picked up an off-lease Dell workstation in 2012, had a core 2 Duo CPU. When Core 2 Quads got cheap, bought one to add on. Bought a cheap USB 3 card for it - the only thing that compelled me to get rid of it was the RAID card in it that became increasingly harder to support under Windows 10. Finally replaced it in 2022 when I could find a 4c/8t i7 desktop for less than it would cost to upgrade the ECC memory in my workstation... While it sucked power, it kept up well for being a 13-year old computer! --- MultiMail/Win v0.52 * Origin: realitycheckBBS.org -- information is power. (21:4/122) .
