I know a lot of people had problems with Windows ME, but I ran it for a while and didn't have any problems with it..  I actually thought some things about it worked better than Windows 98.  For instance, I often had an issue with Windows 98 where when I'd shut down, it wouldn't fully shut down. It would not get to the screen saying "It's now safe to turn off your computer."  It would just sit at the screen where it was still shutting down.
