Originally when FB started I was tech evangelist at MSFT. Lots of people after events were adding me to FB and Twitter when I was using it then. I had a lot of people from work I worked with as well. + like you said 200-300 more or less local people I know or knew in the past.

I started optimizing that about 5-6 years ago and I ended up with 90 only.
