CBM tried its best but lost like many with their ideas that never reasonated with the mainstream and whatever Amiga was proposing.. never was a mainstream and that's the first old fashione reason to think Amiga/CBM disappointed all together... creating a myth of the best platform in the world while it maybe was but only in about 1986 for a moment and then (and definitively in the 90s) world moved on and they missed to catch up... so it was nice and cheap (and dying) platform for the kids up until 1994 when basically a proper PC rig and Platystaion being like Eons ahead of it already, shown the market a competitive price for something that out powered the damn retarded custom chip driven platform CBM tried to continually develop. For the same reason APple almost died too, but were luckier.

The rest is sentiment but still if I compare software proposition, SNES being so much worse technically was superior platform to Amiga and its legendary coders...
