If I had 2oFB to do all over again, I'd still lean on the cool 'modern' font-switching, animation and SIXEL stuff - but I'd of added in a lot more legacy compatibility...

Its just simply not an option at this point - I've spent days, months and years modifying 2o... I always laugh b/c 2oFB isn't the best designed bbS at ALL - but it is what it is; and I'm lucky that the ppl love it. :P

I've thought about two options for legacy hardware; one is just having an ASCII/light ANSi version of 2oFB - but it wouldn't be all of what the main board is. Another idea was to have STOCK BBS softwares all under one 2oFB legacy-friendly matrix login; Telegard, Searchlight, CBBS, Obv/2, etc etc etc - with a local FTN so all the message areas were all 'networked' (locally). 

I kinda wanna work on that latter idea sometime soon... of course, they'd be accessible on the main 2oFB - but I could have some other TELNET addy for legacy hardware... 2oFB is already cooked for what it is. :P
