I've heard that..  I've been using Windows a long time, and in the past I'd occasionally have an issue, though in recent years (especially since Windows 7 onward, I think), I can't really think of a time I've had a significant issue.

I've used Macs before, and they have their issues too.  I don't think Macs always "just work".
